Some Interesting honors came my way in November. I had to
check to see if I was dead or not because usually these kinds of things until
after one goes to the hereafter. I was named Deaf Life magazine's Deaf
Person of the month in November. You can check that out here.
I was also the cover story for the Alabama Developmental Disabilities Council's
magazine, the Advocate. You can see it here.

In Memoriam William Melvin Hamerdinger December 5, 1913 - April 13, 2008
Dad passed on to "Post Everlasting," but he will always be in my heart. I will miss him greatly. He told us he was tired and it was time to go. He was ready, but we weren't. I am glad that Erin and I had a chance to visit with him last summer. |

I said I would work on Dad's tribute pages. Just thought I would have time to do it while he could enjoy it. That shows you what procrastination does. Well, now I need to get it done.
